![]() ![]() This isn't so much a flaw in the video game, so much as the card game itself, but it would have been nice if the designers eliminated unwinnable deals. In the Windows Vista upgrade, which expands to 1,000,000 possible games, seven others are known to be unwinnable. Of the original 32,768 possible games, game number 11,982 is unwinnable.The later versions make this much easier. The ability to move multiple cards at once is pretty cumbersome in this version.The ability to change the card back is a nice feature, although, the early versions of the game only had terrible card art to choose from.The game is a nice bare-bones version of freecell solitaire.I own most versions of Windows, and likewise, own most versions of Microsoft's Freecell. I started keeping track of the games I had completed in my mid-20s. Once I figured out how to play it properly, I began to appreciate it a lot more. As the game slowly became more prevalent, I watched various friends play the game, and tried it a couple of times, but I never really developed a skill for the game until I got a PC with Windows 95 (around 1996-1997). My first version of Windows was 3.0, and I kept it for a long time before upgrading, and, I never had Entertainment Pack 2, so I didn't play this game nearly as much as other popular Windows games. ![]()
